Sorbalgon Classic is a sterile dressing made of soft natural fibres derived from algae.
It is a dressing designed to be highly and rapidly absorbent. The alginate absorbs wound exudate to form a gelatinous coating that maintains a moist healing environment to accelerate the healing process and help stop bleeding.
The gelatinous surface also helps prevent the dressing from adhering to the wound, so removal is painless.
Suitable for superficial wounds, wounds with medium to heavy exudate secretion and deep wounds, pressure wounds, diabetic or venous/arterial leg ulcers.
