Addition Silicone

Polyaddition silicones for podiatry are professional-grade materials used to manufacture custom-made orthoses designed to protect, compensate for and correct structural abnormalities of the foot. Thanks to their high elasticity, excellent mechanical properties and dimensional stability, they enable the creation of comfortable, resilient and long-lasting orthoses for the toes, interdigital spaces, forefoot and other areas subject to pressure and friction.

The two-component formulation with a 1:1 mixing ratio ensures easy processing, rapid curing and virtually zero linear shrinkage, resulting in precise, stable and long-lasting devices.

The range includes various hardness grades to meet every clinical need:

Extra Soft Shore A 3–6 for soft, protective and comfortable orthoses.

Medium Shore A 18–22 for compensatory orthoses and those with moderate corrective action.

Strong Shore A 28–32 for corrective, supportive and realignment orthoses.
