SteriHero Podo 18 Melag is a professional Class B autoclave designed to ensure safe, reliable and efficient sterilisation in podiatry practices that handle high volumes of instruments and require structured, traceable cycles throughout the working day. Rapid sterilisation programmes, such as the Quick-S cycle, allow for optimised operating times whilst maintaining high safety standards. The ideal solution for professional environments requiring operational continuity and instruments that are always available. The chamber is equipped with 3 trays and has a load capacity of up to 5 kg of instruments, allowing for the sterilisation of both bagged and unbagged instruments, offering maximum flexibility even on the busiest working days. The structure is designed for stable installation on a worktop, ensuring robustness and reliability over time.

SteriHero Podo 18 is a stand-alone autoclave, requiring no connection to the mains water supply, designed for practical and independent use. The display with Smart-Touch system makes cycle management simple and intuitive: the operator can select programmes, monitor cycle progress and clearly control all stages of the sterilisation process. The vacuum drying system ensures instruments are perfectly dry at the end of the cycle, ready for use or storage, contributing to efficient management of the daily workflow.

Power Save mode allows energy consumption to be optimised during periods of inactivity, reducing running costs without compromising the machine’s performance.

To ensure proper traceability of sterilisation cycles, SteriHero Podo 18 allows data to be archived via USB or network, with the option to connect to an external printer (optional), facilitating documentation management.
